Blue Pill or Red Pill?

Be The First To Comment

To become aware of our present lack of consciousness is to no longer remain unconscious. It is the mediation practice that allows us to break out of that pit of dreams by separating us from our thoughts and allowing them to float on by.

Why bother? Because when we make decision from this place they can never be right ones. We are entirely subject to fate.

Life becomes a coin-toss and not one comprised of actions in pursuit of the will of the Creator. Most people who practice a Twelve Step lifestyle have been well counseled in the importance of aligned thought and behaviors - life and will if you prefer – over to God’s care and to receive knowledge of His will and the power to carry His will out

It is through an aware state of consciousness that this meditation and the spontaneous state of continuous awareness that happens that the opening up of a whole new way of effortless living comes about.

This meditation affords the most perfect alignment with God’s will that you will ever know. Through it you will realize the true ‘knowledge – not intellectual knowing but a spiritual knowing that is wordless and free of intellectual language.

This is understanding.

This technique is a wakeful, psychically stimulating technique whereby we can initiate and maintain a ‘growth phase’ of conscious contact with God that continues for a lifetime. It provides our own inner guidance system that points us in a direction that is always true and correct - without any outside guidance whatever. The effect is an emptying of the subconscious mind into the conscious mind.

It is the Power of consciousness that neutralizes the negative effect of all rising resentment as it crops up. Then gone are our anxieties, fears and all of the physical manifestations that these bedeviling feelings bring. Even illnesses and health issues are addresses since most of our physical maladies are not physical pathologies at all but symptom of emotional disorder and imbalance stemming from our repeated daily failures to meet each new resentment with the grace – a divine aplomb - of the ancients. More than anything else our new state of awareness gives us a way to deal with these stresses.

The REAL Source of Depression

It Isn't What You Thought

I can tell you a little of my spiritual endeavors to encourage you and give you hope, but if you do not do what I have done in order to experience such things then you will not ‘get what I got’ – they way I got it. Inspiration though beautiful words is not action. Knowledge without acts is useless. Consciously recognizing someone else’s spiritual triumphs and the wonderful truths they champion has only limited value as it does squat to actually transmit any ownership of those truths to us.

The truths experienced by others belongs to them alone. Though we may thirst for truth, when try to suck them into our selves through intellectual osmosis – the spirit remains unsatisfied. The soul is remains parched and the spirit still ails - deprived from whatever serenity we had imagined we might surreptitiously pilfer out of the anecdotal experiences of others. The soothing fix to whatever plagues us, never comes because we have not earned the blessing of walking in the “Sunlight of the Spirit “always feeling just out of our reach as we enviously watch from the shadows. We become more and more selfish as we try even harder to “get ours”. We are trapped in a futile struggle to feel spiritual as we remain prey to our continuing failure to meet with daily stress as we try to shed ownership of our many problems. These bedevilments never seem to go away and it is our resenting even this that lock us into a seemingly never-ending cycle of depression, anxiety, discontentment - spurring wider and wider searches for new fixes.

Struggling to glean un-earned experiences we see others having hinders us from ever experiencing them ourselves because after having failed to assimilate them into our own being, the struggle and ensuing frustration only adds to the already solid block of growing resentments. As the irritants mount the setback only worsens and we move further and further away from whatever spiritual growth we had presumed we might enjoy through our searching and our ambitious ‘studies’. Here the truth taunts us and relief from our pains, fears anxieties – through any real and practical application of spiritual principles remains just out of reach. What cruelty this is.

Lying Eyes

"Why do my eyes hurt?" Neo asks Morpheus. "You've never used them," Morpheus replies.

That is just how it is when we become "meditative" at first.  Sometimes there is difficulty and some pain until we get used to seeing the world for what it really – how it is, and just where we fit into it.

It can be a little shocking. It isn't as we had supposed.

We had been misled, tricked into an altered state of consciousness and now we are becoming more and more aware as our original state of consciousness – one that perceives the truth – is being restored.

It does hurt. So much so, we sense that we are being urged to run away from our new awareness.

Meditation will awaken - opening the door to awareness, grace and true serenity. Do not run. Allow grace to catch up.

Peace and Love,
