CAUTION: Please Read This Before Meditating

Be The First To Comment

Caution - The exercise to which you are being introduced is not something to be trifled with. This is not a toy. Non-Contemplative Meditation™ is a genuine, extremely effective, mindfully spiritual meditation as practiced for thousands of years. Its efficacy will be unlike anything you have ever experienced before - regardless of how much experience you may have had with other forms of "meditation". What you have at your disposal here is not ordinary. Care in its application is necessary.

Yes, it is a "Mindful" practice, but beyond ordinary mindfulness, when done properly, this meditation will introduce a state of consciousness that alerts the practitioner to aspects of their lives and environment that can be quite alarming, perhaps even painful. If  you are not willing to follow the simple instructions with an opened mind or if  your motives are improper there could be serious ramifications to proceeding.

However if you are willing and well-intentioned, you will discover this meditation to  be the most important thing you have ever done in your life.

As a beginner, for your safety, please be sure to listen to the pre-meditation and pep talks prior to attempting this exercise. Rest assured, these will help you safely ascertain your motives and know whether or not this very special technique is for you at this time in your life.  Once you do and if you then still wish to proceed, you can do so in confidence  Please note that mild to medium feelings of trepidation are perfectly normal.

Spirituality of his kind is a serious, metaphysical matter, not to be taken lightly and unless you are ready to truly enter the 4th dimension of existence please do not mess with this exercise. It could be very dangerous to do so. If you truly want to discover and maintain true God consciousness, there is nothing in the least of which to be frightened. You will be safe and very glad you chose to share in this miracle. That is exactly what it is.

Hopefully, those who are mal-intentioned will have been sufficiently warned. However if you are contrite of heart and spirit then I hope you are encouraged to confidently proceed. I promise you that the journey of your life is about to begin.

You, your family and your future can never be the same for it. ~ djs

A Struggle for Human Existence

Be The First To Comment
Once the alcoholic sees precisely why it is that he became one, and that drinking has actually been the least of his problems -- that it has been an effect and not a cause of his many miseries -- then he can allow the gravity of his situation to motivate him into adopting a lifestyle that will maintain a spiritual condition sufficient to stave off virtually any attack on his spiritual psyche.

As alcoholics, when we see the length and breadth of the dilemma – its enormously universal ramifications, not only on our own lives but on the entire human race – we may see just how important it is to finally want to do something about it.

It is a soul-felt yearning that is quite painful. A moment that cannot be explained or adequately shared with another human being. It is an intimate exchange of love and forgiveness that sparks in that moment of clarity - of enlightenment - awakening - between man and the Father Creator. It is a wracking cry to God that some religions have identified as 'repentance'.

We may be powerless to make it happen but at least we can yearn to learn and receive the inspired reasoning and intuitive power to set our own ambitiously guided self-will aside in favor of a God-inspired Will. That Will is one that lights and loves the world and does not darken and destroy it.

It becomes apparent to the alcoholic that his condition is not as much about his well being and the enrichment of his own life as it is about the well-being of his fellows.

It is also about the very serious struggle for human existence. It is about the future of his children and loved ones not only now but for generations to come. It is about the future of mankind. He gets that maybe he has real purpose in this world after all and that just maybe his little role as 'human being is actually part of Gods' really big plan. Life is important. It is more than just worth living for the pleasures experienced. Life is a mission.
